Regarding your inquiries about the order of fire for each station, hope this answers your questions.

One skeet round is composed of 25 targets (pigeons) to be shot from 8 different stations.

From the first station, "Ettan", a single shot will be shot towards the 'high house' or tower, a single target will be pulled over the shooter's head. The shooter will have only one shot.

Thereafter, the shooter loads two shots and calls for a double, a high house and a low house. A target will be pulled from 20 m away and will be shot as crossfire.

When the shooting team have shot all their rounds, they will proceed on to the second station where the same proceedure will be repeated, first a single 'high house' followed by a double. The angle has now become narower than at the first station.

Imagine the range as a clock where half is taken away and half remaining, you are moving counter clockwise from 12 o'clock (station 1), 11 o'clock (station 2), 10 o'clock (station 3) and so on, station 8 is the place between stations 1 and 7.

At station 3, the shooter loads two shots, calls for the high house and shoots, calls for the low house and shoots. Thereafter, the shooter loads two shots and calls for a double where he/she shoots the high tower first, then the low tower.

At station 4, the proceedure is the same as at station 3.

At station 5, the proceedure is the same as before except that the low house is to be shot before the high house in the double.

At station 6, the shooter loads with one shot, calls for and shoots the low tower first, whereafter he/she loads with two shots and calls for a double where the low tower is to be shot first and the high tower after.

Station 7, the shooter loads with two shots, calls and shoots a double where the low house is to be shot first.

Finally, at station 8, the shooter loads with one shot, calls and shoots the high house first, he/she takes out the casing, turns on the mound towards the high house away from the public and the other competitors, he/she then may load with one shot, call and fire at low house.

NOTE! At this time, we would like to inform you that the same shooter cannot participate in more than one event (skeet and trap, for example) because the different events will be occuring at the same time and at different places. Two shooters for each event and one team for each event. If you do not have this problem, then disregard this notice.

Rules for weapons
19/5/1999
As previously announced, all marksmen taking part in the NatWest Island Games must report the weapons and the ammunition they intend to bring with them on a special form for "weapon clearance", which has already been sent to all the islands. When we have received the completed forms, the police authorities on Gotland will issue a certificate which must then be shown at passport control when entering Sweden. For those coming by charter flight direct to Gotland, this will take place at Visby Airport. If you come by regular flight to Stockholm, passport control and weapon clearance are at Arlanda Airport. If you are coming by ferry the control will be made at the harbour of arrival in Sweden.

It is of the utmost importance that the forms are returned as soon as possible, since it takes a certain length of time for the police to issue the certificates.

All weapons must be stored at the Games Village in accordance with Swedish security regulations.

Ammunition 2
The ammunition to be used will be Super Star and it will be free of charge for the competitors during the competitions, but you must buy it for practise.
