| Welcome! As co-ordinator and chairman of the Gotland Fotball Association I welcome you to a week full of football. Leaders, players, referees and spectators will hopefully have a pleasant and entertaining week, and I hope that you will have some spare time in which to discover the beauty of Gotland and Visby. We have selected six venues on the island where the football matches will be played. The training grounds are in Visby, and I hope that you will be satisfied with the event. We will be using nine elite referees from Sweden, who will ensure that the matches are played in the Island Games spirit. Six football clubs from Gotland are helping us to run the tournament and will see to it that the matches at the venues are well-arranged events.
