arena, entering from the north-west, and assemble in front of the stand, in two rows with
eleven islands on each side. |

The Chairman of the
Island Games Association, Alan Cross, asks for the flag to be lowered and given to him,
after which he hands it over to a representative of the Isle of Man. Eight gold medallists
will lower the flag and hand it to Alan Cross. The flagpole is behind the spectators
stand. |

Island Games Association asks the county governor, Lillemor Arvidsson, to formally declare
the 1999 NatWest Island Games on Gotland closed. |

the ship will then be presented one to each island. |
