Guernsey
is having a golden day and are now number two in the medal list. Some of the Guernsey people though seem to have some small problems with finding their way around. yesterday Guernsey was hosting a big reception, promoting their candidature to host the Island Games in 2003. The sponsors were flewn in on a charter to Visby. When the group had landed, the bought som refreshments at the bar at the airport, were a bit puzled to get the change back in Danish Crowns, called their colleague who was picking them up and said: "we are here now". The colleague answered: "I look around but I don’t see you". Actually they were not here, but in Denmark and caught the commander just before he was entering the plane to fly it back to Guernsey. Now he braught the group in time to Visby again. Could it have been Viby in Jylland they visited?

Cycling
For the first time in IG-history Isle of Man did not take any medal in cycling 126 km men.

Table Tennis
We wish them a great party tonight with two Gotlandic specialities: grilled lamb and smoked flounders.
