| In 1878 the first Sport-club was formed on Gotland and in the
beginning of this century the Sports Federation of Gotland was founded. Today more than 30
000 of Gotland's 57 000 citizens are members in Sports-clubs. Every year we host a lot of arrangements in different sports and we are well prepared to host the 1999 NatWest Island Games. We warmly welcome all islands in the Islands Games Association to Gotland! |
